Bonnie Schneider appears as a meteorologist in CNN, HLN and other platforms. The TV show she hosts, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK was launched on March 30, 2012. She also serves as an on-camera meteorologist and is co-executive director. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER, which was published by Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. As a Boston-based special assignments reporter, she reported three times a week on lifestyle, entertainment as well as news. The previous job she held was weather forecaster for weekends at WFOR-TV, Miami. She's held various meteorology, report, and TV positions. They include News 12 Long Island - the 24 hour news channel on cable TV network along with WXII TV - which is an NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem. Her other job was as a fill-in on occasion for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
