Alison Pill

Pill started her career with her first film in Canada But it wasn't until at least a decade later when she appeared for the first time on the American film industry. An example of this was an episode of the Canadian show Traders that starred Bruce Gray. Pill scored a spot in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar, with "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda". Pill did work for Picard for the previous year, later appeared as a secondary actor in Devs, a science fiction miniseries that was produced by FX Productions and Hulu. Pill played the same character, Katie, in each episode just as the character in Picard. Similarity to Picard wasn't over there. The show's creators revealed that same year, the principal theme of the show was around the preservation of consciousness in an artificial structure. That was also true in the case of Data also.
